Visit of the delegation of the Brest region to Ulyanovsk

On October 11-13, the delegation of the Brest region paid a return visit to the Ulyanovsk region of the Russian Federation.

On October 4-5, 2023, representatives of the Ulyanovsk region, led by its governor Alexei Russkikh, visited the Brest region. In development of previously reached agreements, the delegation of the first region of Belarus, led by Dmitry Gorodetsky, Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, paid a return visit. The visit programme included visits to various specialised enterprises, the Ulyanovsk port special economic zone, and participation in a purchasing session of automotive components organised at the Competence Center for Industrial Development.

Today, OJSC “Pruzhany Radio Components Plant”, OJSC “Tsvetotron”, OJSC “Kobrinagromash”, OJSC “Brest Electric Lamp Plant”, OJSC “Brestmash”, as well as LLC “Zubr Energy” and “Battery Alliance”, a branch of CJSC “Atlant” Baranovichi Machine Tool Plant.

V.B. Labun, General Director of the Brest branch of the BelCCI, held negotiations with A.I. Yakunin, Chairman of the Union “Ulyanovsk Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry”, on the development of interregional cooperation. The parties got acquainted with the activities of the regional chambers of the Ulyanovsk and Brest regions and discussed plans for joint events for 2024.
