ATA Carnet – a tool to facilitate temporary admission of goods in foreign states

  • Releases from the need to draw up a regular customs declaration, submit an electronic declaration, indicate the EAEU nomenclature of goods subject to foreign trade codes
  • Reduces financial costs when performing customs operations related to the customs declaration of goods
  • Ensures expedited customs clearance
  • Provides the possibility of multiple temporary import or export of goods to/from one or several countries within one year
  • Allows carrying out several customs procedures: temporary export, temporary import, re-import, re-export, transit
  • Allows transferring the goods specified in the ATA Carnet in one or several batches
  • Eliminates the need to provide the customs authorities of the country of import with financial guarantees for payment of customs duties (the BelCCI is the guarantor)
An ATA Carnet is an international customs document that replaces customs declarations and allows for simplified and expedited customs clearance of duty-free temporary import and export of goods.

3 Obtain the ATA Carnet
Obtain the ATA Carnet 3 A specialist of the issuing branch of the BelCCI draws up an ATA Carnet within 4 to 7 working days from the date of payment and submission of the package of documents (an expedited issuance of an ATA Carnet is possible within 1 to 3 working days).
