The Day of the Brest Region within the framework of the 6th China International Import Exhibition in Shanghai CIE-2023

On November 6, 2023, within the framework of the 6th China International Import Exhibition CIIE-2023, the Brest Region Day was held in the country pavilion of the Republic of Belarus with the participation of Chinese partners and twin provinces.

The program of the event included presentations of economic potential, tourist attractiveness, medical competencies, as well as opportunities in the field of higher education of the Brest region. The materials were presented by: Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Gorodetsky D.N., the Head of the Brest Regional Clinical Hospital Karpitsky A.S., the Head of the FEZ "Brest" Samolazov M.M., the Head of BrSTU S.A. Kasperovich.

Elena Pivnik, Deputy General Director of the Brest Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held business negotiations with a number of Chinese companies and representatives of business support institutions, such as the Liaoning International Trade Promotion Committee, the Coastal Park of the Integrated Bond Zone of Shenyang, the Department of Commerce of Liaoning Province, the Hebei Trade Development Council.

At the same time, a number of bilateral documents were signed on the sidelines of the exhibition. A landmark for the Brest branch of the BelCCI was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Administration for the Management of the Coastal Park of the integrated bonded zone of Shenyang.
