Business visit of the delegation of health resort institutions of the Brest region to Nizhny Novgorod from March 21 to 23, 2024.

On March 22, 2024, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Nizhny Novgorod Region held an exchange of contacts with representatives of health resort complexes of the Brest Region of the Republic of Belarus, which resulted in more than 50 direct negotiations and concluded contracts for specialized services.

The Belarusian delegation included representatives of four health resort institutions: OJSC “Sanatorium Ruzhansky”, Unitary Enterprise “Brestoblgaz” Sanatorium “Nadzeya”, OJSC “Sanatorium-and-Health-Resort Organisation Brestagrozdravnitsa” and Unitary Enterprise “ASB Sanatorium Solnechny”.

About 15 Nizhny Novgorod travel companies took part in individual negotiations, including members of the public Committee on Tourism and Hospitality Industry at the Chamber, as well as Tatyana Smail, Chairperson of this formation.

The parties discussed various options for cooperation, logistics when creating tourist products for clients, the cost of medical and health courses and recreation programmes without treatment.

On the same day, a roundtable discussion was held with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod Region: Sergei Kolesnikov, First Deputy Minister, Tatyana Egorova, Head of the Department of Medical Care for the Adult Population and Natalia Esina, Chief Physician of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Children's Medical Rehabilitation Center.

At the end of the business programme, the Belarusian delegation visited Sanatorium “Gorodetsky”. They were given a general sightseeing tour, told about various treatment and health programmes and discussed areas in which the parties could cooperate, exchange experiences and technologies.

The organizers were the Brest branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union “Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Nizhny Novgorod Region”.
