Let's learn Chinese culture, language and traditions together with representatives of the Confucius Institute in Brest

On March 19, the Brest branch of the BelCCI held the Day of Chinese Culture and Traditions, organised jointly with the branch of the Confucius Institute at Brest State A.S. Pushkin University.

The event was made possible by the close partnership between the department and the management and teachers of the institute. This allows both the CCI employees and representatives of Brest exporting enterprises to study the Chinese language and the basics of Chinese culture from March 2024.

From the Chinese side, the meeting was attended by Mr. Fan, Director of the Institute, Mr. Liu Xichen, the group's teacher, and other teachers.

Chinese partners held unique master classes on traditional Chinese aromatherapy, tea ceremony, and organised a demonstration performance with elements of wushu.

Students of language courses were awarded certificates of completion of the 2nd stage of training in business Chinese and the basics of Chinese culture.

In gratitude, the Belarusian side presented books about regional Belarusian cuisine and the sights of the Brest region. We continue to strengthen our partnership and learn about each other's culture with interest.
