II Chinese Forum of Investment and Trade Cooperation in Shenyang (China)

On October 25-26, 2024, the II Russian-Chinese Forum of Investment and Trade Cooperation was held in the Shenyang, Liaoning Province (PRC).

The forum represented a platform for highly effective interaction between regional financial and investment organisations, trade and industrial companies and business representatives of the two countries. The key feature of the forum was the practical interaction between all participants to build real partnerships and the further development of projects, including in B2B format.

The forum was attended by more than 100 Chinese representatives of the public sector and more than 800 representatives of the private business sector. Business interaction was built with a focus on areas such as: mechanical engineering, electronics, petrochemistry, energy resources, agriculture, transport, equipment, IT, pharmaceuticals, food products, as well as investments, finances, banking services, trade, electronic commerce, logistics, supply chain management, tourism, etc.

Among the delegations of the Brest branch of BelCCI in the work of the forum took part:

- LLC "Agroprodukt";

- OJSC "Sanatorium" Ruzhansky;

- PUE "Aristotle";

- JV Transit LLC;

- Administration of the SEZ "Brest".

Each member of the delegation was declared in the work of 4 sections in directions. Yu.N. Svirid, Deputy Director of JV Transit LLC, made a presentation and a report in the Logistics section, and the administration of the SEZ "Brest" presented their potential in the investment section.

At the same time, on the second day of the forum, the delegation of the Brest branch of the BelCCI was uniquely represented at the individual negotiation stand of the Republic of Belarus as a participant-representative of our country, which aroused genuine interest among the business circles of the Chinese and Russian sides.

On the final day, more than 80 negotiations were held, an agreement was concluded on the intentions of cooperation between OJSC "Sanatorium" Ruzhansky and the Chinese tour operator.
