Business negotiations between enterprises of the Brest region and Chinese partners from Dalian, Liaoning Province

On November 25, the Brest branch of the BelCCI hosted business negotiations between a Chinese company from Dalian and representatives of more than 10 Brest enterprises interested in developing mutual trade and cooperation with Chinese partners.

The first visit of a Brest business delegation under the auspices of the regional branch of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the city of Dalian as part of the 38th International Export and Import Exhibition in June 2025 marked the beginning of a promising cooperation.

The main areas of activity of Chinese partners are agricultural machinery and equipment, intelligent equipment for agriculture, import and export of automobiles and auto parts, export of passenger and commercial vehicles (including electric vehicles), financial and logistics services, polymer materials for food packaging (environmentally friendly, freshness-preserving, heat-resistant), solutions based on lithium batteries and energy storage systems, international trade and industrial cooperation, export/import of grocery products.

At the invitation of the Belarusian side, the Chinese colleagues visited Belarus for the first time, specifically Brest. This provided an opportunity to hold substantive meetings and negotiations on a wide range of cooperation areas. The two-day visit included visits to Brest's trade and manufacturing enterprises. The Chinese partners also had the opportunity to explore the region's most famous tourist attraction, Memorial Complex “Brest Hero Fortress”. On their next visit to Belarus, they agreed to definitely visit the National Park “Belovezhskaya Pushcha”.

Today, our Chinese colleagues are interested in creating a new industrial platform of “intelligent equipment + international cooperation”. Guided by the principle of “mutually beneficial development and a shared future”, this company combines technology and logistics to modernise agriculture and the automotive industry.
