Business visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan

A business visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan of a delegation of food industry enterprises of the Brest region was organised by the Brest branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry from May 27 to May 30, 2025.

The goal is to establish direct contacts with Uzbek processing and trading enterprises, promote the export of manufactured products, in particular beef, study the food industry market of Uzbekistan, technologies for processing and production of finished products.

During the four-day visit, the Brest delegation visited such cities as Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, in each of which specialised negotiations, visits to manufacturing enterprises, and meetings in regional chambers of commerce and industry were held. During the meetings, Cooperation Agreements with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Samarkand and Bukhara regions were signed, in which the parties recorded their intentions to develop mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation, promote the strengthening of business ties and carry out mutual business missions.

The results of the visit also included the signing of a Cooperation Agreement by the Brest branch with the exhibition operator RESOF EXPO. This will allow the use of exhibition venues in Uzbekistan to promote export-oriented enterprises of the Brest region.
