Business matchmaking session of business representatives of the Republic of Belarus and the Pskov region

Business matchmaking sessions of entrepreneurs of the Pskov region and the Republic of Belarus were held on January 17-18, 2023. The organisers were two chambers: the Union of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Pskov region and the Brest branch of the BelCCI. VA Zubov, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Pskov region, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. The General Director of the Brest branch of the BelCCI Labun V.B. made a response speech. The results of cooperation for 2022 were summed up and plans for 2023 were announced. As part of the event, the leaders of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry expressed their gratitude for the implementation of joint projects to develop cooperation ties between manufacturers of the Pskov and Brest regions. Within the framework of contact sessions, negotiations were held between Pskov and Brest enterprises on the possibility of organising the supply of organic fertilizers and lighting for the development of greenhouses, growing ornamental plants, ingredients for the baking industry, etc. On the Belarusian side, OJSC “Gorodeysky Sugar Plant”, OJSC “Lyakhovichi Cannery”, LLC “Arlight and K”, “Varival Group” company and others took part. The negotiations were productive. The Chambers of Commerce and Industry organised the opportunity for participants of the contact session for individual online communication at a convenient time for them in order to work out issues of mutually beneficial cooperation. A more detailed discussion of the terms of trade cooperation will continue in an individual format.
