On November 20, the Brest branch of the BelCCI, with the assistance of the “Brest” FEZ Administration, hosted the event “A Day with the BelCCI: acting in the interests of “Brest” FEZ residents.”
The focus on the audience was not accidental. Resident enterprises of the “Brest” FEZ - the first FEZ in Belarus - make a significant contribution to the economic potential of the region. Thus, in 2023, “Brest” FEZ residents exported their goods to 65 countries of the world for about 1 billion US dollars. The volume of industrial production reached Br4.0 billion.
The event program met current business needs and included not only practice-oriented presentations by experts of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on sanctions compliance, assessment, examination, international exhibition activities, customs and tariff regulation of the EAEU, but also individual consultations for participants.
Among the participants of the event were also representatives of enterprises that recently joined the BelCCI. Valery Labun, General Director of the Brest branch of the BelCCI, with all the honors and celebrations presented them with certificates of membership in the BelCCI and emphasised that the wide range of services provided by the chamber can contribute to the development of their foreign economic activity.
The participants noted the high professionalism of the speakers, the relevance of the information received and the practical significance of the presented cases, and also proposed planning similar events in 2025.
