Chairman Mikhael Miatlikov meets with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan Bakhtovar Safarzoda

The Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhael Miatlikov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus Bakhtovar Safarzoda.

The meeting was attended by the plenipotentiary representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan in Belarus, Bahluljon Dodobaev, who was appointed to this position in February of this year with the aim of developing bilateral economic relations.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Tajikistan, prospects for expanding business ties and increasing trade turnover, the issues of the BelCCI's interaction with the Embassy and partner organizations in Tajikistan, the activity and future plans of the Belarusian-Tajik Business Council.

Mikhael Miatlikov presented the main activities of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, invited diplomats of the Embassy of Tajikistan to visit the Belagro international exhibition this year, take part in the BelCCI events as part of the holiday "Kupalye" ("Alexandria gathers friends"), as well as in the Commercial Counselor Day. In addition, he expressed the readiness of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to receive a delegation of Tajik business circles and organize some events for the two countries' business representatives.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Bakhtovar Safarzoda, in turn, noted Tajikistan's interest in deepening partnerships with Belarus, increasing the supply of products, and also emphasized that the Embassy is ready to assist the BelCCI in holding events and implementing various initiatives to promote business contacts.
