DELTA DRILLING COMPANY OJSC HAS BEEN KNOWN IN THE CONSTRUCTION MARKET FOR MORE THAN THREE DECADES. The company was founded in 1990 by Nikolai Chernoshey. Over 30 years he managed to transform a small firm with the staff of six people into a successful construction business. In 2021, his son, Konstantin Chernoshey, continued his father's business. By the time Konstantin Nikolaevich took the helm at Delta Drilling Company OJSC, he had already gained experience working at various sites and facilities, having worked his way up from a foreman of a drilling site to the First Deputy General Director. With his appointment, the company has become stronger, both domestically and internationally, and reached a new milestone in its development. Today, Delta is already a well-known brand in the construction markets of Belarus, Russia and the CIS. Its name speaks for itself and stands for the highest-quality service.
The company's portfolio includes many industrial and civil facilities in the country – Delta has been involved in dozens of landmark construction projects. These include Gazprom Center multifunctional complex (Minsk), the facilities of the Byelorussian Steel Works (Zhlobin), Gomelglass OJSC, bridges over the rivers Sozh (Gomel), Dubrovenka (Mogilev), Western Dvina (Verkhnedvinsk), as well as Petrikov and Nizhyn ore-dressing plants. The company was invited as a contractor to modernize domestic refineries and build the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee (Minsk).
Given that Belarus is a relatively small country, the majority of the company's contracts embrace foreign sites. The formation of the Customs Union was a turning point and a huge starting opportunity for Delta Drilling Company. It was then that the company started exploring the construction market of the Russian Federation, and succeeded in it.
Delta Drilling Company has successfully demonstrated its modern pile foundation technology at large-scale construction sites in Moscow, St Petersburg, the Urals, Siberia, Sakhalin and Yakutia.
Delta has been a partner of Gazprom PJSC for many years. It creates strong, reliable foundations for pipeline compressor stations and other buildings and structures in permafrost conditions, in the Siberian taiga, beyond the Arctic Circle. In particular, Delta's team of professionals was involved in the construction of the Power of Siberia and Nord Stream – 2 pipelines. The demand for the organization's services has not diminished recently.
Every year, the company gains more and more new partners and sites in Russia. Delta has proved to be a reliable contractor in another large-scale energy project – the conversion of cogeneration plants from coal to gas. The company was also a contractor at the reconstruction of cogeneration plants 12 and 16 (Moscow), Nizhnyaya Tura hydroelectric power plant in the Middle Urals, Sakhalin hydroelectric power plant, as well as the second hydroelectric power plant in Yakutsk.
Delta Drilling Company OJSC was also involved in landmark construction projects in Kazakhstan: the construction of the prestigious Green Quarter residential complex (Nur-Sultan), the Karachaganak oil and gas condensate field located in the West Kazakhstan region, and in Turkmenistan – the construction of the Garlyk Mining and Processing Plant.
Today, the company exports more than 95 percent of its services.

Today, the company has all the necessary permissions, including those required for survey work, designing facilities on pile foundations, consolidating and strengthening soils, drilling wells (including freezing ones), water supply systems, water dewatering, etc. For this purpose, the specialists offer customers a number of unique in-house engineering solutions, important in the execution of the most complex technological processes.
For example, Delta Drilling Company was the first in the CIS to master the advanced piling technology with the use of pneumatic impact drills, which has proved to be the most effective for the foundation installation in rock formations. The organization was the first in Belarus to introduce quality control of piles by seismoacoustic, ultrasonic and thermometric methods.
